Exchange Policy

We want you to love, love, love the things you order from us! But we know we can't always please everyone—and so we make it easy to exchange items that were bought at full price.
What can be exchanged?
You may bring back any full-priced items for an exchange or store credit, as long as they are post-marked within 15 days of the original shipping date. Items must be in their original condition (unworn, unwashed, and with tags still intact). Shipping and handling charges are always non-refundable. This applies to all online or phone orders.
How do I exchange something? 
Please contact us at info@theredballoon.com to begin the return process. We are available from 10am-6pm CST, 7 days a week!
What if I want to exchange for a different size or item?
Should you desire a different size or a different item altogether, we'll do our best to accommodate you. Simply call ahead to check and reserve the size.
Can I exchange items that I purchased in person at your store?
Items purchased in person at our Chicago store (where you can see, feel and touch the merchandise) can ONLY be returned for exchange or store credit. We ask that you bring back unwashed and unworn clothing items within 30 days of the purchase date, with the tags attached and intact. You don't need a receipt because we've got you in our system. The best part: your store credit will never expire!
Can I return items that I bought on sale?
All sale items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged. We're happy to give you our two cents on whether something runs big or small, but at the end of the day, you are responsible for your purchase.
Can I return personalized items?
All custom-ordered items (such as the customized decor, personalized art, personalized blankets or pillows, and monogrammed sweaters) cannot be returned, provided they are made to the manufacturer's specifications.
What if I received an item as a gift and want to exchange it?
If you've received a gift from us and would like to exchange it, you are welcome to do so (provided the item was not personalized or purchased on sale). We will be happy to help you choose a replacement item: simply contact us at info@theredballoon.com or visit our store. Please note that you will be responsible for any new shipping charges or price increases.
